Qinyan (Coco) Wang Wang joined Rayman Barristers LLP in August 2026. As a lawyer, her practice focuses on expropriation and civil litigation.

 Prior to joining the firm, Coco completed a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada. As a Judicial Law Clerk, Coco assisted judges on judicial review applications, motions, and a broad range of administrative law matters.

 During her time at Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Coco gained hands-on legal experience by volunteering with the Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic and working with entrepreneurial clients at the Slingshot Clinic. She also conducted research on comparative constitutional law under the supervision of Professor Edward Béchard-Torres. Coco completed her Professional Placement with the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, where she gained insights into government decision-making and Crown perspectives on land, environmental, and regulatory matters. At Lincoln Alexander, Coco received the Richard and Donna Ivey Scholarships for Environmental Law and the Spring Forward Award.

 Before pursuing a legal career, Coco worked in the sustainability and environmental advocacy sector. She also completed the Parliamentary Internship for the Environment, where she had the privilege of assisting Senator Mary Coyle.

 In her spare time, Coco can be found running and biking around the city, or exploring a new café or restaurant.
